ISRAEL WILL NOT TAKE PART IN INTERNATIONAL
COURT OF JUSTICE HEARINGS
THOUSANDS EXPECTED AT THE HAGUE TO DEMONSTRATE ON BEHALF OF ISRAEL --
(Intercessors for Israel, Ha'aretz)

Israel will not participate in the International Court of Justice's hearings on the West Bank separation fence,
the inner cabinet decided yesterday.  Instead, the ministers decided, Jerusalem will make do with the affidavit
it submitted to the court in The Hague two weeks ago, which rejects the judges' authority to rule on the
matter and states that Israel has a fundamental right of self-defense.

Israel will not remain entirely on the sidelines in the closely watched case, which begins February 23.  Aside
from Foreign ministry spokespeople, hundreds of Israeli demonstrators plan to fly to the Netherlands, and
ZAKA, an Israeli nonprofit organization involved in helping to identify bombing victims, is sending the
skeleton of a Jerusalem bus mangled in a Palestinian suicide bombing.  Also, 1,000 Israeli youth are going
to Geneva carrying a photo of the 1,000 people killed in terror attacks since the intifada started, and 1,000
believers from Holland are doing a silent march.

PRAYER/INTERCESSION:  Pray for G-D's hand to be on the myriads of demonstrations that will be
happening on that day, that there will be no outbreak of violence.
Pray that this event would reveal the
extent of anti-Semitism and awaken the Jewish people and the Church to their destiny.
