Dear Terri, What would I say to you on that day when I shall see you face-to-face in that "Land of No More Tears", where sickness, death, and sorrow will all be wiped away? I hope to say with burning heart, that your love, courage, and strength to live helped change a cruel and apathetic world. Your life became a living, holy epistle, read by the world, saying: "Protect the weak and defenseless! Speak for those who cannot speak for themselves! Feed the hungry! Clothe the naked! Give water to the thirsty! Visit the sick and the imprisoned! Open your ears to the cries of the poor and needy around you! Learn to love with G-D's love! Show mercy!" Terri, your life on earth was (and is) G-D's message for the hour. You've strengthened and encouraged many, including myself, to take a greater stand against evil and injustice in our society. You've awakened countless souls to G-D's great, unfathomable, and everlasting mercy (which sits above the law). We'd witnessed our Nation's evil and corrupt judicial system at work, sentencing you to death by denying you your basic human right to food and water. What were these "judges" of ours afraid of? Did they deny you your "right to life" for fear of "throwing a wrench" into their pro-death agenda (that is, abortion, euthanasia, mercy killings, etc.)? Are these not the same "justices" who imprison animal owners for starving their pets to death? You were a piercing thorn in their side, reminding them of the evil of their ways! Because of the cruel, inhumane way you were treated, you've ignited the hearts of many people within our Nation and throughout the world to protest against the culture of death and to stand for the value of human life. What we as a Nation had allowed to happen to you [and to other innocents] is disgraceful. It's my hope and prayer that we as a Nation will never let it happen again. | "If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain.: If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, doth not He that pondereth the heart consider it? And He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it? And shall not He render to every man according to his works?" -- (Proverbs 24:11-12). |
