| A PRAYER FOR ISRAEL Heavenly Father, Protector and Redeemer of Israel, we invoke Thy blessing upon the State of Israel which by Thy providence has been reborn in the land of our fathers. Shield her with Thy mercy and spread over her Thy protecting peace. Bestow the light of Thy truth upon her leaders and direct them by Thy good counsel. Sustain the hands of those who build and defend the Holy Land. Grant peace within her borders and security to all her inhabitants. O L-RD, remember our brethren of the whole house of Israel. Unite our hearts to love and revere Thee and to keep all the precepts of Thy Torah, that we may be a blessing to all mankind. Fulfill unto us the vision of Thy prophet: Out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the Word of the L-RD from Jerusalem. I will call upon the L-RD, Who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies" (Psalm 18:1-3). PRAY for G-D's peace and protection over all Eretz Yisrael [the land and people of Israel]. PRAY that the L-RD will grant peace and comfort to the grieving families and friends of members of the coalition forces who've lost their lives defending freedom. PRAY G-D will have mercy and give protection to our troops, civilian personnel, and Iraqi citizens who are caught in the cross fire -- who desire to live in peace. PRAY that the L-RD will expose and bring to light those hidden weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and throughout the Middle East. PRAY that the L-RD will expose and bring to light those underground tunnels which are used to smuggle weapons to be used against Israel and the coalition forces. PRAY continually for all terrorist strongholds to be broken. PRAY that the L-RD will raise up leaders in Israel who will not seek to "divide the land". The land belongs to Israel by divine right! PRAY that the L-RD will bless His Chosen People with added strength, moral courage, and protection -- regarding their "divine right" to the whole land of Israel. PRAY that America will continue to stand in strong support of Israel and the Jewish People. A THOUGHT TO PONDER: One day in the late 19th Century, Queen Victoria of England reportedly asked her PM, Benjamin Disraeli, the following question: "Mr. Prime Minister, what evidence can you give me of the existence of G-D?" Disraeli thought for a moment and then replied, "The Jew, your majesty." "Comfort ye, comfort ye My People, saith your G-D" (Isaiah 40:1) PRAY The L-RD will grant peace and comfort to the grieving families and friends of those who have been murdered in recent terrorist attacks. Our love and prayers remain with you always, especially during your hour of mourning. International Wall of Prayer reaffirms our denounciation of all violent acts aimed against the State of Israel, and the entire Jewish Nation. PRAYER: Heavenly Father, the cries of the fatherless and the widow never escape You. You take any injustice done to them as being done to You. You are He Who rescues the needy from their oppressors, and the distressed who have no protector. You are a tower of strength for the oppressed -- a tower of strength in their hour of need. L-RD, I am comforted to know that You are concerned. "The cry of the poor" and "the hope of the destitute" ring loudly in Your ears. No! You do not forget the poor, O G-D. You hear the lament of the humble and are attentive to their heart's desire, bringing justice to the downtrodden. The wicked man in his pride hunts down the poor. His mouth is full of lies and violence, mischief and trouble. He lies in ambushes for a chance to murder the innocent. Arise, L-RD, and set Your hand to the task; do not forget those victims who have committed themselves to You. Break the power of the wicked: Hunt out all wickedness until there is no more. Have pity on me, O L-RD, look upon my affliction, You Who are the lifter of my soul, that I may praise Your Holy Name -- forever. Amen. "Unto Thee will I cry, O L-RD my Rock: be not silent to me: lest, if Thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward Thy holy oracle. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: Give them after the work of their hands; Render to them their desert. Because they regard not the works of the L-RD, nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them and not build them up. Blessed is the L-RD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The L-RD is my Strength and my Shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; And with my song will I praise Him. The L-RD is their strength and He is the saving strength of His anointed. Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance [Israel]; Feed them also, and lift them up for ever" (Psalm 28). PRAY for our leaders, that G-D will grant them divine wisdom, strength, and power to lead His people. "So may you walk in the way of good men, and keep to the paths of the consistently righteous -- the upright (in right-standing with G-D). For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the men of integrity, blameless and complete (in G-D's sight) shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous shall be rooted out of it" (Proverbs 2:20-22). PRAY for G-D's peace and protection over the coalition forces in the Middle East and throughout the world. PRAYER: Almighty G-D, Whose Providence watches over all things and in Whose hands is the disposal of all events, we look up to You for Your peace, protection, and blessing amidst all the grave dangers which surround us. In Your infinite wisdom, You have permitted us to be threatened with the evils of war. Save us, we beseech You, from the hands of our enemies. Watch over our fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, and daughters who, trusting in Your defense and in the righteousness of our cause, have gone forth in service to their country. May their lives be precious in Your sight. Preserve them from all the dangers to which they may be exposed. Help them to successfully perform their duty to You and to their country. Heavenly Father, in Your infinite wisdom and power, overrule events and so dispose the hearts of all engaged in this painful struggle that it may soon end in peace. Do this not only for the safety, honor and welfare of our soldiers, but also for the good of Your people, and for the glory of Your great and holy Name. We ask this and so much more for Your glorious Kingdom's sake, Amen. PRAY that the L-RD will grant peace and comfort to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the war with Iraq. PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, help me to weep with those who weep. Make me sensitive, L-RD, to the pain that is around me. Help me not to forget the suffer-ings of those far and near. Let me not grow callous or deaf to those who are hurting. Those who are suffering are my brothers and sisters. Touch their hearts. Bring healing to their brokenness. Bind up their wounds. Alleviate their suffering and restore their peace. In Your righteous, and merciful Name we pray. Amen. "The L-RD is near unto those who are of a brokenheart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). A PRAYER IN LOVING MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF TERRORISM May our merciful Father Whose Presence fills the universe, remember in His great mercy, the faithful, the upright and innocent lives of the holy communities of Israel, who died in sanctification of the divine name. They were faithful and beloved in life, and there was no disunity among them in death. They were swifter than the eagle and more resolute than the lion in doing the will of their Creator. May our G-D remember them for good, together with all the righteous of this world, and may He vindicate the blood of His faithful shed by tyrants. As it is promised in the Torah of Moses, the man of G-D (Deuteronomy 32:43): Let His people rejoice among the nations, for He will vindicate the blood of His faithful. He will bring retribution upon His adversaries, and remove the guilt committed against the land of His people. And as it is further promised in the writings of Thy Prophets (Joel 4:21): I will not clear them for the blood of the innocent, for the L-RD's presence is in Zion. And in the Holy Writings it is also written (Psalms 79:10): Why should the nations say, Where is their G-D? Manifest Thy retribution among nations for the innocent blood of Thy faithful shed by tyrants. And it is written (Psalms 9:13): He who vindicates the blood of the innocent will remember them; He will not forget the cry of the humble. PRAY that the L-RD will grant peace and comfort to the grieving families and friends of those who have been murdered in recent terrorist attacks. Our condolences go out to these families and friends. Help me to overcome my grief. For You alone are my Refuge and my High Tower and my Stronghold in times of trouble. Let Your Holy Spirit of Comfort speak peace to my troubled soul. Though I may feel all alone, I know You are always with me. According to Your Holy Word, You will never leave or forsake me. YOU are my rest for my wearied soul. YOU are my peace in times of trouble. YOU are my healing for my wounded spirit. YOU are the complete hope of my existence. YOU are the solution to all of my problems [past, present, and future]. YOU are that Great Physician Who binds up the broken-hearted. YOU are the soothing Balm of Gilead, bringing health and healing to my spirit, soul, and body. YOU are my L-RD, my G-D, my SAVIOR, my REDEEMER, and my KING. In the face of great discouragement and even anger, I have chosen to call upon Your Holy Name to deliver me from all of my afflictions. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. For You are my Light and Salvation, Who protects me from all alarm; therefore, whom shall I fear? Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. L-RD, You are my Rescuer. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. For nothing can separate me from Your great love: neither pain nor stress nor persecution. You are the sustainer of my life. What would have become of me, had I not believed that I would see Your goodness in the land of the living? Thank You, L-RD, for leading me to the road of my recovery. You alone are my hope and confidence for a brighter tomorrow. Blessed be Your Holy Name forever and ever! Amen." PRAY especially for G-D appointed leaders who will not compromise Israel's security, and who will carry out G-D's plans and purposes for Israel at this critical time. PRAY against the evil spirit of of terrorism which breeds all hatred and murder. PRAY for G-D's peace and protection over Christian Arabs throughout the world. PRAY they will have the courage to stand up for what is lawful and right in the sight of G-D. As Christians, we must value the truth of G-D's Holy Scriptures above all else. "Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not; behold, your G-D will come with vengeance, even G-D with a recompence; He will come and save you" (Isaiah 35:4). PRAY for Christians everywhere to boldly stand against the evil spirit of anti-Semitism which is anti-Zionism, and anti-Israel. PRAY Israel will show love, care and concern towards all Arabs who desire to live side by side with them in "true" peace. "But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right... he shall surely live" (Ezekiel 18:5). PRAY for Israel in that the Jewish People will "fully" turn to G-D, to His Holy Scriptures and that the L-RD "will" deliver His people, empowering them with His strength. "In those days, and in that time," saith the L-RD, the children of Israel shall come; they and the children of Judah together; going and weeping: They shall go, and seek the L-RD their G-D. They shall ask for the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, 'Come, and let us join ourselves to the L-RD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten" (Jeremiah 50:4-5). PRAY that Israel will not look at the giants in the land with fear and trembling. Our G-D is able to deliver out of the hands of the enemy. Hallelujah! Amen! "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the Name of the L-RD our G-D. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, L-RD: let the King hear us when we call" (Psalm 20:7-9). PRAY against the betrayal of the Jewish people by their own government leaders. Jews do not expell Jews from their G-D-given land! "But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth. And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it. Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our G-d, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them" (Nehemiah 4:7-9). PRAY for G-D's divine wisdom, guidance, moral courage, and unity to lead the Prime Minister of Israel and his Cabinet. PRAY for Israeli policemen, security personnel, and IDF [Israeli Defence Forces] "But they that wait upon the L-RD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). PRAY they will be alert to impending dangers that continually surrounds them. PRAY that G-d will watch over them, protect them, and keep them as they defend their "G-d given" land and peoples. "Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the L-RD thy G-D is with thee whithersoever thou goest" (Joshua 1:9). PRAY Israel's government will be moved to take down all uninhabited Arab buildings which have been used by terrorists to stockpile weapons, ambush, maim and kill Jewish citizens. CALL UPON G-D to help Israel maintain a combination of early warning capabilities and a high level of combat readiness on the Golan Heights. PRAYER: "Heavenly Father, You are a tower of strength for the oppressed, a tower of strength in our hour of need, that those who acknowledge Your Holy Name may trust in You: for You, O L-RD, do not forsake those who seek You." PRAY also for the healing of "wounded spirits" (Proverbs 18:14). PRAY for Israel's morale. PRAYER: "May G-D lift up your spirit and give you added strength and moral courage. May the nearness of His wonderful presence continue to fill your life with His great love and blessed shalom -- peace." PRAY the "spirit of unity' to fall upon the entire Jewish nation [Israel: One Nation Under G-D] PRAY that the enemies of Israel be confounded, turned back, and ashamed. "Plead my cause, O L-RD, with them that strive with me: Fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: Say unto my soul, I am thy Salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the L-RD chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the L-RD persecute them. For without cause they have hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: Into that very destruction let him fall. And my soul shall be joyful in the L-RD; it shall rejoice in His Salvation" (Psalm 35:1-9). PRAY confusion and derision into their camps. PRAY the spirit of disunity to fall amongst those who have set their minds to destroying Israel [the land and her people] and all those who stand with her. Wilt not Thou, O G-D, Who hast cast us off: And wilt not Thou, O G-D go forth with our hosts? Give us help from trouble for vain is the help of man. Through G-D we shall do valiantly; for He it is that shall tread down our enemies" (Psalm 108:11-13). PRAY G-d's peace and protection over "all" the Yesha Communities [Click here for the list of Yesha Communities]. PRAY the government of Israel will allow all Jews, Christians, and Arabs to "freely" worship at their holy sites. PRAY especially for the salvation of the entire Jewish Nation. "The L-RD is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? the L-RD is the Strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). PRAY [continually] against all future terroristic activities. PRAY that "all" weapons of mass destruction [which lay hidden in mosques, tunnels, homes, caves, etc. throughout the land of Israel and outside of her borders] to be exposed. YES, OUR PRAYERS DO MATTER TO G-D. WE DO BRING HIM ALL GLORY AND HONOR AND PRAISE WHEN WE BELIEVE HIM AT HIS WORD. O' WHAT AN AWESOME AND MIGHTY G-D WE SERVE! AMEN. "Deliver me from mine enemies, O my G-D; defend me from them that rise up against me. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men. For, lo they lie in wait for my soul: The mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgressions, nor for my sin, O L-RD. They run and prepare themselves without my fault: Awake to help me, and behold. Thou therefore, O L-rd G-D of hosts, the G-D of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: Be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah" (Psalm 59:1-5). PRAY that "all" perpetrators [smuggling and hiding these weapons] be found. PREVAIL WITH G-D for the protection of innocent people in airline offices, terminals, aircrafts, bus stations, schools, government offices, embassies, military installations -- places where Israeli and Americans are prime targets of terrorism. "Behold all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: They shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish" (Isaiah 41:11). "In G-D have I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do unto me" (Psalm 56:11). PRAY against a possible united front [joint Arab forces] planning to invade Israel's land from the East PRAY for all world leaders that they will allow G-D's divine truth and justice to rule over their heart. "For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem; I will also gather all nations and bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted My land." (Joel 3:2). PRAY the UN will not continue to stand by as innocent blood is shed. PRAY the UN will raise their voice against those Arab nations who continue to use their own children as political pawns, and human shields to hide their guns. PRAY the UN will raise their voice against those Arab nations who teach their children [from birth] to hate, and to wage war against [both] Jews and Christians. PRAY for the Holy Power of G-D's love to destroy the evil spirit of hatred off the hearts, minds and souls of these children. PRAY that these children will come to know the "pure" love of our Heavenly Father, Who [alone] can bring "true" and "lasting" peace to their hearts. PRAY the UN will put a stop to the horrendous brainwashing of these children, who have been taught [from birth] that it is a glorious thing to die a "martyrs" death. PRAY shame and conviction to fall upon "all" UN leaders who [by their silence and their condolence] support such a cause. PRAY the American government will stand against "all" terrorist groups, including the PLO. PRAY for peace and protection of Christians throughout the world who are "presently" being persecuted, maimed and murdered for their faith by Islamic terrorists. PRAY the silence of all bystanders be broken. "It's by our silence we stand condemned!" "He is the L-RD our G-D: His judgments are in all the earth. He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the Word which He commanded to a thousand generations. Which covenant He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac; and confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance" (Psalm 105:7-11) PRAY against inconsistency between various statements coming from the White House. PRAY that America and her allies will not "halt between two opinions" and compromise with terror and evil. Elijah said, "How long will you halt between two opinions? If the L-RD be G-D, follow Him" (I Kings 18:21). PRAY that the nations which are wavering in their support of Israel be reminded of G-D's Hand in " gathering His Chosen People, Israel". "For thus saith the L-RD: 'Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of nations: Publish ye, praise ye, and say, O L-RD, save Thy people, the remnant of Israel. Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together; a great company shall return thither. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: For I am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn. Hear the Word of the L-RD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him; and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. For the L-RD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he" (Jeremiah 31:7-11). PRAY that the American government will stand against "all" tyranny [acts of terrorism] including that of the PLO -- bringing down their UN agenda. PRAY for all exiled Jews everywhere to make Aliyah back to the land of their fathers. Many today are in the "valley of decision" in regards to the Land. Israel's claim to the territories are Biblically based on G-D's everlasting promises to Abraham and to his descendants "forever". "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision." For it is the day of the L-RD's recompenses for the controversy of Zion" (Isaiah 34:8). PRAY that the PLO will eliminate from its written charter the "liquidation" of Israel and "all" those who do not agree with its doctrine. "Thou art my King, O G-D: Command deliverances for Jacob. Through Thee will we push down our enemies: Through Thy Name will we tread under that rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. But Thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us. In G-D we boast all the day long, and praise Thy Name forever. Selah" (Pslam 44:4-8). PRAY against all Islamic Terrorist Organizations in that their strongholds be broken. "Thou has broken down all his hedges; Thou has brought his strongholds to ruin" (Psalm 89:40). PRAY against "all" Arab nations who are seeking after Israel and her allies ull destruction. "Keep notThou silence, O G-D; hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O G-D, For, lo, Thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate Thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against Thy people, and consulted against Thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the Name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against Thee: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagar- enes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek: the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb; Yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of G-D in possession. O my G-D, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire: So persecute them with Thy tempest and make them afraid with Thy storm. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Thy Name, O L-rd. Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: That men may know that Thou, whose Name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth." (Psalm 83:1-15) CLAIM THE PROMISES that those who would defy the G-D of Israel and attempt to destroy His Jewish nation and come against His Jerusalem would be "cut to pieces". "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone ... all that burden themselves with it shall be cut to pieces ..." (Zechariah 12:3). STAND ON BEHALF of Ethiopian Jews who are desiring to come to Israel. Many are suffering and dying of hunger and of abominable living conditions. PRAY for countless families who are waiting to come to Israel. Many new immigrants arrive virtually penniless. PRAY for an upsurge of Israel's economy and tourism levels. May all Christians everywhere take every opportunity to financially bless and support Israel, by buying Israeli products and by visiting the Holy Land. PRAY sincerely that man will learn that those who have cursed the Jewish people have been cursed and those who have blessed them have been blessed. [And G-D said to Abraham]... "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed" (Genesis 12:3). G-D's Word is forever settled in Heaven and in earth. "O L-RD, save Thy people, the remnant of Israel" (Jeremiah 31:7b). PRAISE G-D for His faithfulness concerning His Holy Word towards His Chosen People, Israel, and His Church [joint heirs according to His promise]. PRAISE G-D for His great mercy, grace, and encouragement in this hour. "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the Name of the L-RD our G-D. PRAISE G-D for His glorious plan of Salvation through His Chosen People, Israel. PRAYER: "Heavenly Father, in Your Holy Name we ask all these things and so much more, on behalf of Your Chosen People, Israel, and of those nations and peoples who align themselves with Your Holy W-rd, "... for such a time as this and for this very occasion" (Esther 4:14). L-RD, be glorified in the midst of Your people forevermore, Amen!. "Thus saith the L-RD, keep ye judgment, and do justice: for My Salvation is near to come, and My Righteousness to be revealed.
