AWAITING HER L-RD's RETURN
by Eva

She looked out through her window, hoping it would be the day
When her BELOVED would be returning to carry her away.

Daily, she watched and waited while she labored and she toiled.
She kept her lamp well trimmed and lit, and continually filled with oil.

She looked out through her window, through the archives of her soul,
Ever watching, ever waiting, though the night seemed long and cold.

She kept her lamp well trimmed and lit, awaiting her L-RD's return.
O' how her heart had longed for Him, O' how her spirit yearned.

She looked out through her window, hoping it would be the day
When her BRIDEGROOM would be returning to take His Bride away.
