by Eva
Hand in hand, we took our journey,
Through the corridors of the past,
Where embedded fears, and torment;  Overwhelming shadows cast.

There I found my cold, dark prison
But the doors were opened wide.
I was free, yet did not live it;
I'd believed the devil's lies.

Now my heart sees more clearly,
Now I'm filled with gratitude
For the victory that was won me,
Through a love misunderstood.

There my Savior stayed beside me,
Loving me through every turn.
How my heart leaped, deep within me
As I watched past bridges burn.

"Blessed Savior, please forgive me,
Help me never to doubt again.
As we journey onward, upward,
You and I, [L-rd] hand in hand."
